Description:
- Want to
tickle (and test) your taste buds on the difference between California sauvignon blanc and chardonnay?
- Want to see if your nose knows when you are drinking California
pinot noir vs cabernet sauvignon?
- Want to know if your expensive tastes include the wine you
prefer?
For the April re/discovery
series, join us in re/discovering the sensuality of wine as we do a blind tasting
of six different wines, six different varietals at varying price points all produced
in California. You'll have the opportunity to really explore the wines of
our own home state as you guess the varietals in our blind tasting.
And just to make it even more fun and interesting, the palate that
“knows her wine blind” during the blind tasting, trivia and discussion will win
a fabulous prize package!
As always, we’ll be supported in our exploration by our favorite
wine expert, Kristina Omari, certified by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust
(WSET).
A few other details:
- This will be held at a
private residence so you must register (registration is $39 - see link above) to be sent the

- It will be BYOG(lass) – the tasting will be done flight style,
so bring 3 glasses to sample the 3 whites and 3 reds (in that order).
- Light snacks will be served.- Bring a friend! It’s always
better when you share the re/discovery experience.
