about the sensual movement
the sensual movement is a women’s lifestyle movement focused on helping women re/discover their happier, healthier, sensual self. Not just about the physical, this is a holistic mind-body-spirit approach celebrating the joys of being a woman. the sensual movement provides ongoing and customizable classes, workshops, products and services designed to support the each woman’s unique needs in identifying and nurturing her feminine balance.
the sensual movement is based on the belief that women in today's environment, especially Black women, face a challenge in maintaining our "feminine balance." The lack of this balance has affected not only our health (uterine fibroids, breast cancer) but also our mental and spiritual state. This is a movement to re/discover feminine balance and enable us to become happier, healthier people. the movement (as members call it) is about developing our feminine selves - not solely on our physical (sexual) selves - in a uniquely feminine way. for each woman, this will take a different shape (literally and figuratively) but the benefits are the same.
